Drama: Increasing your imagination and self-awareness
The drama course develops the use of imagination, concentration, and observation. It improves the control of movement and the use of the voice when performing. It encourages the understanding of theatrical texts.
Technique, terminology, elocution and phonetics are taught alongside the use of the voice with its various inflections and the use of the eyes. Through the experience of improvisation students perform exercises of exploration of personal experiences to develop the understanding of one’s personality and the control of one’s emotions.
From the second year, the study and analysis of theatrical scripts is introduced, while in the third year more importance is given to the study of monologues and the Stanislavskij technique.
