Tutor ed equipe medica
A tutor to overcome any obstacles
This will be the first experience away from home for many students. For some it may prove difficult to adjust to such a new and challenging environment. At the beginning of each new course, a personal tutor will be assigned to each student to assure practical support. It will be possible to meet the tutor whenever necessary.
The progress of each student will be monitored continually. Two written reports will be issued each year (February/July). Each student will have the opportunity to evaluate his/her personal progress with his/her personal tutor and the Director of the school.
Each project will receive an evaluation which will be taken into consideration for the final report.
Pilates and a medical team for safe development
The Pilates classes focus on preparing the body for dance, strengthening the weaker areas. Moreover it is fundamental in the rehabilitation process in the case of injury.
The school provides a specialized medical team that follows the students with regard to prevention and any eventual treatment. The team is made up of four physiotherapists, an osteopath, an orthopaedist, a chiropractor, a posture specialist, a phoniatrics specialist, a speech therapist, a psychologist and a nutritionist. An agreement between the school and many important medical analysis centres of the town allows medical tests and x-rays to be carried out quickly.
The management of one’s own health is a fundamental necessity for a dancer. For this reason the school considers it to be of crucial importance to make students aware of a correct healthy lifestyle in line with the activity being carried out. Eating well, training correctly, having in-depth knowledge about one’s body and its limits, can all avoid deficiencies, overweight and injuries.
